DIY Beauty: Personalized Makeup Brushes!

Sorry for the long hiatus!  I'm back with a super easy tutorial on how to personalize your makeup brushes.  It took me about two minutes to do both brushes.  It's a perfect lazy afternoon DIY project! This technique can be expanded to pens/pencils ... anything really.  Let's get started!

For this project, you will need:

• Nail Polish in your favorite colour 
• Makeup Brushes
• Tape 
• Gems (optional)

 Tape off a centimeter or two at the bottom of your brushes.

Paint the end of the brushes with the nail polish of your choice.  Add a second coat if necessary.  

Let dry, and then take off the tape.  Add gems at the bottom if you'd like.

Optionally you can cover the nail polish with a top coat/clear coat of nail polish.
And you're done! Decorate a set of makeup brushes to make a gift set!
